I saw a Filipino family denied entry at immigration here in Manila because they didn't have the eTravel completed. The website has problems and if you do it wrong it's confusing to find out why you did it wrong. Still amazes me that I travel Europe & North America with such ease (none of this eTravel BS but yet the Philippines still makes it hard to enter their country. The way Philippines airport immigration treats people at the airport is a disgrace (I have seen this but force to keep my mouth shut because of their power). Go to immigration at the airports in Canada and you will see the exact opposite. Philippines needs a complete transformation on their airport system.

I traveled to the Philippines in March 2024 and returned in April 2024, I stayed for 27 days, immigration did not ask me for any documents, such as yellow fever, proof of hotel stay, round-trip ticket, and I wanted to stay for more than 6 months on my next trip, and at minute 5:00, you said you can renew the visa, would I be able to go from Brazil to the Philippines with just a one-way ticket and if immigration asks me for the return ticket, should I say I will renew it? hehe

Hey Jennifer, I have managed to complete Etravel for my partner, however when I submit my travel declaration it states in red 'The selected ! family_members.0.family_member_id is invalid.' I have even made another account and yet the same problem appears. Our flight is tomorrow from Singapore to the Philippines and I am panicking that I won't be allowed through immigration. I have contacted Etravel through the website without a reply. By the way my partner thinks you are awesome 👍.

Hello, I would like clarification on the customs clearance of goods/items for strictly personal use of a foreigner with a 9a visa to the Philippines who is going to see his Filipino girlfriend. I have hiking items worth no more than 10,000 php each. Does the Php10,000 amount apply to the total contents of my backpack or to each (used) item separately ? I don't see that it says " total value " in section 423 of the CMTA but I'd like to be sure. Thank you

It is on the second extension you must make and pay for the ACR I-card not the first 29 days extension. Or do i misunderstand you here? I have done this for 10 year now, every year goin throug the same. It say clearly even in your video that if you stay LONGER than 59 days you must apply for a ACR- I card.

Question - my partner already booked for 34days prior the extension request. Will he be allowed to enter our country and just go to BI in the airport to request for an extension upon his arrival? Or can I help him through e-services with his info but Im the one who will process it from the Phil but he hasnt arrive here yet so it will be in advance prior to his arrival?
